The Significance Of The Filling

Are you all excited about what God is doing? I hope so! Keep going forward!

We are heading to the Promised Land of God for us individually and corporately.

Oh I want to be a Church known in Heaven as one of the hungry ones that won’t be still until they experience ALL that God has seen for them, and are walking in it!

Those crazy disciples who were willing to pay the price to wait for their empowerment as they entered into one accord, got the experience that was certainly not natural. It was God’s super on their natural!

Acts 2:3 KJV
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

This means they were filled with tongues (languages) they never learned in the natural, and that it was divided among them, and it carried “lightning” like fire. LOL. Come on now! This was a NEW experience! But let’s look at what it accomplished.

Acts 2:4 KJV
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

They were completely FILLED with the Holy Ghost, and there was no room for their opinions. They began to speak words out of their mouth that were no longer from their thoughts, but from the Holy Spirit’s thoughts.

And the Word goes on to tell us in Acts 2 that they were speaking about the marvelous works of God.

Okay, that’s cool! What an experience! I have lived through many revivals, and I do speak with tongues as the Spirit fills me. I am a Prophet Pastor and I have to depend entirely on Him, because I have nothing in and of myself to give.

But let us realize the significance of what happened because of the filling.

Boldness came upon Peter and he preached ON FIRE! He also went ALL OUT, because he could have been killed for preaching the way he did. The difference the Holy Ghost made for him, was that he just didn’t care. All he cared about was getting a powerful truth to them so that they could come to know the truth and it would set them free.

Acts 2:37-39 KJV
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
38 Then Peter said unto them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. “

And do you know what happened? Just that.

Acts 2:41 KJV
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

The New Testament Church went from 120 to 3,120 in a moment of Holy Ghost-infused preaching! And the difference was obvious:

Acts 2:42 KJV
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Yay! Good for them! But what about us?

I believe that if we are honest, some of the things the Church experienced with God’s glory then and through past revivals was more predominant than what we have experienced with God’s glory in recent times.

When you see that the Church needs to step up, these promises (see highlights) still apply:

Haggai 2:4-9 KJV
4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,' says the Lord; 'and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,' says the Lord, 'and work; for I am with you,' says the Lord of hosts.
5 'According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!'
6 "For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake Heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;
7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts.
8 'The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the Lord of hosts.
9 'The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the Lord of hosts."

For all the things the Church has been able to accomplish already, there is so much more He is going to do through the beautiful Church of the New Testament. He wants to bring Heaven and bring to pass ALL He has reserved for this time in history for us to accomplish.

And it will be greater than what was accomplished in the Old Testament. It will be greater than what was accomplished so far, because He is going to have a power-filled Church that will walk in purity with the fire of God upon it to change the world!

It starts with you staying in awe of how wonderful He is. When you’re talking to Him about the wonder of Him, He talks to you about the wonder He has put inside of you.

It’s wonderful to know you’re chosen! You don’t have to be like anyone else. You can be powerful when Jesus is inside you. The Church has forgotten the ingredients God has put inside them.

Jesus didn’t come just to give you fire insurance--to keep you out of hell! There is a hell, and there are people who will end up there. I don’t want them to. I have to be the light! I have to be on fire for God! I can’t just hope someone will witness to them.

I’ve got to be the witness. I’ve got to be one who takes the time to see them, to pay attention to them, to notice them, to care for them, to lay hands on them, to speak words of life to them, and to love them with a different kind of love.

When we get overwhelmed in His presence, we have a way to show our appreciation of Him. We can’t help it!

So how do we apply this?

We must STAY ALL IN, to GO ALL OUT! Yes, you can stay ALL IN! When you are in continual prayer throughout your day, you stay in touch with Him and He stays ALL IN you--to direct you, to lead you, and to love through you.

It’s time for the Church to love those inside and those outside on a different level. This means that as you have surrendered through these days, God is going to take you up on your surrender.

  • He is going to give you experiences that He knows you need
  • He is going to empower you more than ever before.
  • He is going to count on you like never before.

If the first two things above excited you more than the last one, then recognize that is where change needs to occur.

But now is the time, so grace will be there for you. His empowerment will come to influence your heart. His empowerment will bring you to the place where it is no longer hard, but it becomes a privilege to GO ALL OUT—however, whenever and to whomever He desires.

Remember, it isn’t about us; it is about Him moving through us.

So let me now turn your attention to what you need to get ready for:

  • Are you ready to do whatever is necessary inside of the church to make it function in excellence?
  • Are you willing to clean the floors, make food, call on those in the hospital, or offer to help at home?
  • Are you willing to empty your wallet to someone in need?
  • Are you ready to be trained instead of insisting that you already know what you need and you would rather be seen at the front?
  • Are you ready to sit and receive and get filled by the Spirit so that you can give out to others, inside and outside the church?
  • Are you ready to work hard in whatever department to see the church function properly?
  • Are you ready to be the Church of the Book of Acts?

Acts 2:42-47 KJV
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

These were hungry people. They were willing to meet in the temple, and willing to meet in houses with gladness and singleness of heart. Why? Because they were focusing on praising God. He brought the miracles. He brought the increase. He met the needs. And we are to be the continuation of that Church. Let’s be those people!

I am just as desperate as anyone else asking God for this to occur.

I am hungry to have more hunger.

I am ready for His power to consume me and His fire to fall on me at a different level.

I am ready for us, as the Church of 2019, to arise and melt the generations together and melt hearts together.

I am ready to change families, change lives, and do the practical as the Spirit instructs us.

So I Prophesy:

Now is the time, and this is the season where I (God) am going to arrive on YOUR scene, with MY SCENE. I am going to infuse My power upon you and awaken the spirit within you for My purposes. You will find yourself having different desires and doing things that used to be hard for you to do, become easy, because I have become the Servant within you. This is a time where you will know My love and break in to find those who have been contained by the bars satan has trapped them behind. The joy you have been missing, you will now find anew. It comes as I flow through you for them. It’s a time of being ALL OUT because I am going ALL OUT on a rescue mission and you will join Me. I chose you. Now choose Me.

WORSHIP wholeheartedly and be overtaken!

I’m blown away!

It’s time to worship Him today more fervently than ever before! Please do!
