If we are going to walk in the supernatural things that God has prepared for us ahead of time to do, we must start by believing for supernatural things to occur as we follow Him in obedience to His Word. Because the structure changed in the New Testament, after the cross, we can now boldly approach the throne of grace.
To live equipped for the supernatural, we must never stop in our pursuit for more of Him. We must be hungry for who He is. We must be hungry every day to be in His Word. We must want to gaze upon His beauty.
We are not trying to become good enough to be a part of our heavenly Father’s household. Once we have accepted Jesus into our lives, we ARE His sons and daughters. Not only has He welcomed us into His family, not leaving us as orphans, but He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing.
Think about this: God is on our side. Not just a person who says they will be with us. I am talking about the Creator of the universe. I am talking about God, who is everything we will ever need, and who has everything we will ever need to succeed.
Now we should be convinced that God has equipped us to walk in the supernatural for His purposes to be accomplished on the earth. So, how do we live equipped to co-labor with God? Start by living free from fear and intimidation:
One of the tactics of the enemy is to keep us in disbelief regarding the fact that we are being equipped by the promises of the Spirit. He wants us to live in hopelessness.
Humility is the opposite of arrogance and pride. Jesus was never prideful, but He was confident, because of His relationship with God. So we must realize that Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, will help us to be so dependent on God, that the only thing that we have to do to have supernatural results is be obedient. And our obedience comes because our heart wants nothing more than to lift up His name.
Galatians 5 is an amazing chapter of the Word. It is not, however, most people’s favorite chapter. Because it addresses things in our lives that we need to be aware of, and produce change in, so we can walk in the fullness of the supernatural.
What has He done? If we believe His Word, then we must also believe we have EVERY spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. Every spiritual blessing here means that we are blessed as one who is filled with and governed by the Spirit of God—a Spirit who is divinely supernatural.
What if every day you woke up with the awareness that God’s “super” on your natural was your normal way of life? And what if every day you expected His righteousness to go before you and make a way that would lead you to the person who is in desperate need of what He has deposited on the inside of you?
