ALL OUT – Completely

Today we must consider what going ALL OUT looks like in reality in our everyday lives.

The next part of the ALL OUT definition is this: Using all one's resources; complete; total

God has given us each the same amount of hours in a day. And He has given us all the same things to utilize:

  • Time
  • Talent
  • Energy
  • Finances

So, during this time of allowing God to search our hearts, this is our opportunity to see what part of each of these things we have truly given to Him completely. So let’s break it down:

Time:

To be ALL OUT, we have to go ALL IN to His presence daily. Be honest. Can you say that you have that kind of diligence daily to give Him your best time? I know everyone has to set priorities to make them work.

You need to set apart time to be with the Lord. That is the most important first thing with your time every day. You can get so caught up with what you have to accomplish that you can forget, but He never forgets you. He never stops wanting to be with you and to spend time with you. You are His priority! It melts my heart to think of the God of the universe longing to be with me, doesn’t it you? We must come to Him in a spirit of humility and a spirit of gratefulness. Surely He will show up and let us know His love. Then we are ready for the day!

Talent:

You may think you don’t have talent, but you do! God does everything with purpose, design and structure. And He made you special. He designed you with purpose and gave you ALL the ingredients you need to get His will done.

It could be that you are a nurturer, someone who likes to reach out and meet the needs of others in the practical. You could be called to intercede and pray for others in such a way that it changes their lives and makes a way for them to know Him and the power of His love. You could be one who knows how to engage people in conversation. That makes you a connector—one who can draw people in so you can help them to know their worth and value to God. You could be one who is talented in creativity, media, hospitality or organization. These, believe me, are talents!

We ALL need each other, and we all need each other’s gifts and talents to form a whole, so that God can be known in all we are and all we do. Ask God today to reveal to you what special talent He has invested in you, because He has.

Energy:

I know this one can be a challenge. Since I have been going to Physical Therapy I know that it takes a concentrated effort to extend your energy to receive more. There is a poster on the wall there that says, “You are stronger than you think.” Oh yes you are! They have pushed me farther and harder than I wanted them to, but it was for my good.

That is what I am trying to do for you. I want you to see your potential; I do not want you to be stuck in what you already expend your energy on. There is more for you as you exercise your muscle of being ALL OUT for God.

The more you go, the more you want to go. The more you give, the more you receive. So when you are waking up and you do not feel like praising God, praise Him on purpose.

When you are in the grocery store, auto store, or school, be aware of who God wants to highlight for you to be the light to. Then whether you feel like you have the talent or any energy left to pour into someone, when you step ALL IN you will find out you do because you are not doing it alone. You are doing it with God. Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 10:33
That is the plan I follow, too. I try to please everyone in everything I do, not doing what I like or what is best for me but what is best for them, so that they may be saved.

Finances:

Yes, we all have something to use for the Kingdom. Whether we have abundance yet or not, when we give ALL OUT for God, He will provide everything we need and more. We are all aware that our tithe (10%) is to go first into the storehouse, the place where we get fed.

Leviticus 27:30 NKJV
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's. It is holy to the Lord.

Imagine that something we give to further God’s Kingdom is considered holy to Him! Isn’t it amazing and a privilege to give to God knowing that? And then, when we give beyond that, we have more promises:

Malachi 3:10-11 NKJV
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this," says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of Heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field," says the Lord of hosts.

If you want to prosper in ALL your ways, with ALL you have, then this is something you can apply to your life in faith, recognizing that God Himself will show up. He will rebuke the devil’s tactics against you, and set you in a new place of prosperity where ALL you do will cause a harvest. God has gone ALL OUT for us with His promises as He gives us instructions to follow. We can give ALL OUT knowing it’s not only the right thing to do, it puts things in motion that will continue to bless us and benefit us in every way.

PRAYER:

Lord,

I give you permission to examine each part of my life, my time, my talent, my energy and my finance. I am asking you to show me how I can adjust whatever needs to be adjusted for Your glory. I am so grateful for Your promises as well as Your instructions. I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and You made me with just the right ingredients to bring You praise. Though I have doubted this in the past, I repent for that, and accept that You have made me worthy and given me the ability to affect the world. I am praying that You help me apply just what You want me to in every situation I encounter,

in Jesus’ name, Amen.
