Saved (Salvation Story): I attended a few years of Christian school back in elementary. At one of our Friday morning chapel services during my 2nd grade year, I vividly remember the pastor asking us if we knew what it meant to ask Jesus into our hearts. Even though my parents would take me to church, this pastor’s explanation really made sense to me. So I raised my hand and made the decision to follow Jesus right then and there. I wrote the date in my little red Bible. I wonder if I still have it!

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: When I was 18, God really started changing my heart. I came to the realization that it was time to stop making dumb choices and that I needed to pursue Him and His will for my life with everything I had. That’s when I went on a month-long missions trip to Uganda, Africa with an organization called OneHope. The lives of thousands of students were changed while our group was there, but my own life would never be the same either. When I returned home from Africa, I had a near-death experience. When God brought me out of it, He clearly told me that He had great plans for my life and that this was the beginning.

Most People Don’t Know This About Me: I overthink everything. Oh, and oddly, I have an irrational fear of rubber bands!
