God is Good

In the book of Genesis, there is the story of the Devil playing with the mind of Eve. The main weapon the Devil uses here to mess up humanity is the question of whether God is ultimate goodness. Is there a greater goodness out there that is accessible without God? For the believer, the goodness of God has got to be at the core of our lives. Without this truth as our reality, we become susceptible to deception and turning our backs on God.

This promise indicates that His water destroys shame, give you a clear mind, heals you from disappointment and keeps you from failing! We can have as much of God as we want. The degree of thirst, our desire, indicates how much of God’s character we will understand and become a part of. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Water is necessary for life – how much more is it necessary to thirst for Him!

We are the privileged people who get to work WITH GOD for His purposes. We have been called to operate on a much higher plane than those who do not have covenant with God. Hunger is a necessary ingredient to know Him and His ways. When we take the time to seek Him, converse with Him, we will begin to have the same appetite that He does! God is hungry for us to join Him in His hunger for salvation for all!

Old / New Covenant Ministers

Jesus fulfilled Isaiah 61:1-4. And it was not just about Him! He became the sacrificial lamb, creating a new and better covenant. He settled the debt owed for sin and disobedience, giving us the ability to live a completely different life under different covenant provisions! We now have an everlasting covenant with Almighty God, and He has made us able ministers. In this way, His name will be glorified forever. The enemy will always try to steal, or twist God’s blessings. One way is through familiarity. We should never become familiar with God’s presence or blessings! We are called to bring the supernatural into the natural, without apology, and with great expectation!

The lambs sacrificed at Passover in the Old Covenant symbolized Jesus’ sacrifice and the defeat of our enemies. His blood forever provides freedom from death and brings life to those that belong to Him. Every time we take communion, we are drinking the cup of freedom, pardon, deliverance, and forgiveness.

The doctrine of water baptism should not be taken as a ritual or just something we do on a holiday. This action has great significance for us. God provided safety for Noah and his family. He still offers that to all of mankind today through salvation and baptism. This revelatory teaching will bring excitement and understanding of how great is our God and Redeemer!

Why are you still questioning it? You are free from sin, and all the tactics of the enemy. Joy comes when you understand what was accomplished when Jesus defeated death and sealed our covenant with God. No longer slaves, but sons. This powerful sermon brings light and revelation of this truth!

In Bible times, a covenant was a solemn agreement, a binding oath between two parties, which was sealed by blood. God is looking for a church that is in covenant with Him. A church that understands who He is and what He has done to bring covenant to His people. God is desiring that His bride, His church, His people, will return to understand covenant. He is opening hearts and minds so His people will be committed to Him on a different level, and become the help the world needs.

Covenant Relationships

If we can understand covenant relationships, we can have better marriages and better friendships. In fact, like Abraham – we can be called the friends of God. In this sermon, Pastor Dawn explains what covenant is, and why it is so important to understand covenant relationships and apply this principle, that God so highly valued, to our lives today.
