Old / New Covenant Ministers

Jesus fulfilled Isaiah 61:1-4. And it was not just about Him! He became the sacrificial lamb, creating a new and better covenant. He settled the debt owed for sin and disobedience, giving us the ability to live a completely different life under different covenant provisions! We now have an everlasting covenant with Almighty God, and He has made us able ministers. In this way, His name will be glorified forever. The enemy will always try to steal, or twist God’s blessings. One way is through familiarity. We should never become familiar with God’s presence or blessings! We are called to bring the supernatural into the natural, without apology, and with great expectation!

The lambs sacrificed at Passover in the Old Covenant symbolized Jesus’ sacrifice and the defeat of our enemies. His blood forever provides freedom from death and brings life to those that belong to Him. Every time we take communion, we are drinking the cup of freedom, pardon, deliverance, and forgiveness.

The doctrine of water baptism should not be taken as a ritual or just something we do on a holiday. This action has great significance for us. God provided safety for Noah and his family. He still offers that to all of mankind today through salvation and baptism. This revelatory teaching will bring excitement and understanding of how great is our God and Redeemer!

Why are you still questioning it? You are free from sin, and all the tactics of the enemy. Joy comes when you understand what was accomplished when Jesus defeated death and sealed our covenant with God. No longer slaves, but sons. This powerful sermon brings light and revelation of this truth!

In Bible times, a covenant was a solemn agreement, a binding oath between two parties, which was sealed by blood. God is looking for a church that is in covenant with Him. A church that understands who He is and what He has done to bring covenant to His people. God is desiring that His bride, His church, His people, will return to understand covenant. He is opening hearts and minds so His people will be committed to Him on a different level, and become the help the world needs.

Covenant Relationships

If we can understand covenant relationships, we can have better marriages and better friendships. In fact, like Abraham – we can be called the friends of God. In this sermon, Pastor Dawn explains what covenant is, and why it is so important to understand covenant relationships and apply this principle, that God so highly valued, to our lives today.

Our Youth & Young Adults spent a week at the Urban School of Evangelism at the Oasis of Hollywood, California. They ministered on Hollywood Blvd., Skid row, Santa Monica Pier, and everywhere they went. Steve & Janice Champagne led the group, and this Sunday they shared their life-changing experiences, and imparted to all of us the same heart for the lost. This is their report: 20 souls made a decision to follow Christ, and 30 rededicated their lives to Christ! Inspiring!

The effects of the love of God portrayed by Jesus were undeniable. Lives were changed. History was altered. His disciples turned the world upside-down! How? Through the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus knew they would need help. He knew they were imperfect human beings, who would sometimes fail. Like all of us. However, with faith in the love of God, and the results it produces, anything is possible!

1 Corinthians 2:4 NKJV “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power.” Did you catch that? It is the Spirit INSIDE of us and HIS power demonstration of God’s love that gives us the edge that defeats the enemy every time. If you hide from God the devil can destroy you, but when you hide IN him, the devil can’t touch you.

Grace has been misunderstood by many. Some have used the principle of grace as a license to sin. When you understand the character and love of God, you understand that God has provided grace to enable us to live WITHOUT sinning! Grace sets you free from the dominion of sin. It is God’s favor and power to overcome sin.
