2018 Fasting Guide – Day Eight
POSITIONEDWe must realize that God is so ALL IN that He gave His Son in order for us to become His sons and daughters.
First, we must recognize how God honored Jesus and where He is positioned right now.
Ephesians 1:20 KJV
So here we know Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father.
Ephesians 1:21 KJV
We know that God is HIGH ABOVE our enemy and any tactic that he has—above every name, including every name of sickness, disease or malady, now and forever.
Ephesians 1:22 KJV
Here we find US—the Church that He is the head of—over everything, and He didn’t leave us out of the equation. He included us in this:
Ephesians 1:23 KJV
We have positional authority to fulfill all that He has pre-qualified us to accomplish! Oh my goodness! We are not beggars. We are not missing anything. We are with Him, and we have been given the fullness of who He is, and we are accomplishing everything He has for us to do, as we recognize and accept our position.
Ephesians 2:6 KJV
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Church, we are alive and living together with Him! We are seated above the troubles, above the circumstances of life, above the weightiness of sin. We are built to operate like Him, and we are hidden in Christ in God. And there is a purpose that we all have. If you were wondering what that purpose is, He has made it clear in His Word (even clearer in the Amplified version):
Ephesians 3:10 AMP
We have been purposed with representing God in such a way, that any principality of darkness can’t even tell if it’s us or Jesus Himself!! That is who we are! And that is how we should live! If we were able to grasp this, none of the devil’s fear tactics could work against us. God is on our side, and Jesus has made a way:
Ephesians 3:11 AMP
It has been settled and declared. And if we need any kind of assurance or help, we can just do this: Go see Daddy God!
Ephesians 3:12 AMP
A partnership is an arrangement where parties, known as partners, agree to cooperate to advance their mutual interest. They contribute money, skills, and other resources, and share profit and loss, rewards and risk, in accordance with the terms of the partnership agreement.
Many people nowadays have a very independent attitude. They want to do it themselves. Did you ever hear the song, “My Way?” That’s the announcement of the world’s system: “I did it my way.” Well, the Church gets to make the announcement that we did it God’s way and God’s way is MUCH better!
Others think in terms of, “What can one person do?” and so they live small and in an attitude of defeat. They are done before they even start. The real issue isn’t what one person can or cannot do, but what can one person do when they partner with the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving, all-gracious God of the universe?
With Him, there is no small thinking, and nothing is impossible. God calls to you every day, providing opportunities for you to be a part of a miracle-working team. If you allow God to show you the impossible it will determine your future.
Now think of it, God chose to partner with you. He chose you to change people’s lives. Realize what one man can do! Realize what YOU and GOD, with seamless oneness, can do. Recognize the power in a partnership. And then prove the partnership by showing and reminding the whole world what partnering with God can accomplish in a moment and in a lifetime.
1 Corinthians 3:9 AMP
If you are joint promoters, you are living BIG.
2 Corinthians 6:1 TLB
Why? Because we have the answer for it all! That’s why He anointed us. Anointed means “rubbed with oil, painted.” The original text means that He has taken the oil of His Spirit and infused us with it and He has painted us with His blood so we stand out. We are a walking billboard for the Lord.
The afflictions of the enemy have no power against the power of the Lord that we have and that we operate in. You make the difference when you realize you are equipped to help those that are going through the broken parts of their lives. We are called to help others, to build them up, to introduce them to salvation and to get them planted! And they will change the things that need to be changed with Him, with us. And His name will be glorified. Are you living the life that God intended you to live, or are you just getting by?
We must realize and act as God’s partners—as the Church. If God is our Partner, life is different. We should operate with authority and the mindset that we are way makers, not just takers. We are producers, not consumers!
Do it ALL IN!!!
