2017 Fasting Guide – Day Seventeen
JESUS LIVED LIMITLESS
Jesus taught. But He didn’t just teach, He spoke with authority.
When Jesus advised His disciples to watch and to do as He did, He was telling us … His disciples … to teach, to speak out, to live our lives with the power of God backing our words. You don’t need a pulpit to teach with authority. You need authority to speak with authority. That brings impact. That produces change. That makes atmospheres come into alignment with God’s will. When the Church realizes the authority she has actually been given, there will be no demon in hell that will be able to intimidate and prevail. Demons are real, but Jesus showed us what to do. He cast them out. He had authority, took authority and gave us the same authority over them. And demons knew who was in charge:
WE have the same authority. If we are going to live the way God intended us to live, we need to recognize demons, and KICK THEM OUT. Not just out of others, but out of any influence they are trying to have in our lives as well. Jesus knew the power He had over all the things satan had devised to kill, steal and destroy. And He was our model to show us how WE are to act. He took authority over sickness and brought healing.
Mark 1:29-31 NKJV
Jesus hates sickness and we should too. We are to operate in the same power of God! He healed all that were sick, and He delivered all that were demon possessed and you are to do the same.
Mark 1:32-34 NKJV
Lord, thank you for your investment in mankind. We realize no one could ever do anything to deserve this kind of love. We are so grateful You have made a way for us to be one with You, the Creator of the universe, yet so willing to let every individual know You personally and co-labor with You. What a Savior! What a Friend! What an amazing Father! I love You and I am so grateful. I let go of the old ways of thinking, and I dare to not only dream Your dreams, but to be a part of making them come true. In the precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
