One of the tactics of the enemy is to keep us in disbelief regarding the fact that we are being equipped by the promises of the Spirit. He wants us to live in hopelessness.
• Where circumstances speak louder than promises.
• Where our faith "seems" to have failed.
• Where the voices of the enemy are stronger than the voice of the Spirit.
But we do not have to live this way!
We can determine to live in the hope of the Lord. His promises are yes and amen. God Himself watches over His Word to perform it.
Our hope is not in the fact that we see immediate change. Our hope is in God. Our hope is not hopeless.
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. - Romans 5:5 NIV
We will always have hope that does not bring us shame. Instead it will bring forth the glory of God through our lives.
How are we to understand that we have all the equipment we need to walk by the Spirit?
Grace is not just unmerited favor.
It is also the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life, including gratitude.
In other words, grace is the divine presence upon our heart that equips us to be who He has called us to be and do what He has called us to do and be happy because of His amazing presence.
If we can live with this understanding, we will know that everything in the natural will bow to the plan of God when we are operating by the power of the Spirit.
Jesus is the great Equipper, which is what we will concentrate on for the next week of this fast.
Today let hope arise as you allow the Spirit of Almighty God to breathe upon the hopelessness that satan has brought into your life.
The hopelessness that has caused you to give up in moving forward.
The hopelessness that causes you to accept your position as a slave, instead of a son or daughter.
I speak hope into every hopeless situation by the power of the Spirit that lives inside, and I release the hope of God by the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus and in the power of His might!
The chains that have held you bound under the spirit of hopelessness are broken, and you are arising to this new life again, full of hope, as you realize you are the equipped of the LORD and HIS Spirit. It is the mainstay for every situation you may face to bring about the victory!
Pray this prayer: Lord, right now I come and I ask that You reveal any area where I have let hopelessness take place in my life.
I thank You that You have provided the remedy for it. You are my hope and my salvation. So, in the precious name of Jesus, I say, “Hopelessness you are exposed, and I command you out of my life now, never to return.”
I declare that I am free and I am filled with hope. My hope isn’t found in circumstances, my hope is found in Jesus, the author and the finisher of my faith. I let hope arise right now and I put on a garment of praise.
